Hi My name Monica Jenkins I am 17 years old and I was born with a mild case of cerebral palsy. I am always called the pretty girl in a wheelchair when I go to auditions but that’s NOT who I am I AM human! I know im not what people consider typical model/ actor material but I wont let a disability hold me back in life all it does is make me a stronger person im a hard worker and will work hard to make anything I dream or want a reality given the opportunity to do so with a little help along the way I love making people laugh and smile because I don’t think life should be a sad thing. I've been interested in modeling and acting since I was 11 and have read a lot into and sadly haven’t seen or really found any disabled people in the industry and I don't know why but its time to spread my wings and see where it takes me after all if you don’t believe in your dreams and yourself who will? All people can ask for is a chance and hope someone somewhere will believe in them

I love writting poems and taking picture of children, and shopping (like any teen girl) I also like to do public speaking to young and old about the affects of living with a disability.
